Banking operations streamlined with Robotic Process Automation (RPA)

How we helped one of our clients in automating the credit card application verification process for providing a seamless banking experience.

Challenge:

The client manually verified pre-filled credit card application forms submitted by customers. This involved validating the information in the mainframe application to determine eligibility before creating the credit card. Unfortunately, this process took approximately one hour per customer.

Solution:

The banking agent receives a replica of the credit card application form in an MS Access tool, where input is required. Through RPA implementation, a seamless connection is established between MS Access and the Mainframe system. All validations are performed there, and RPA assesses correctness and eligibility. Subsequently, the credit card creation process is initiated.
